Fall at FPH

Yes, it's been a while. I am finished with my day job
and am back to work for me.
Our poor house was neglected for about 6 weeks
so I've been playing catch up the last few days.
I finally had a chance to take a few photos
of the house with Fall decor.
I don't do much but a little jewel tone
surely does wonders.

Our living room...

Into the dining room....

I just dyed the chandelier shades. They were originally white
but to me, they just didn't "go" so I started with pink
and that was a hmmm, not quite,
so I went with a mink color.

Oh, that red wall. I will leave it alone until after the holidays since it's so festive.

and the kitchen...

I keep stacking my vintage mis-matched china on the cabinets that
I've been hunting and collecting for the bakery.
I'm running out of room!

My kitchen is rather cramped these days with the huge
industrial rack in there that holds all of my baking essentials.
We haven't been able to sit in the window seat either since it's piled with
bakery stuff. It's going to be a day of celebration
when we are moving all of this out of the house and into the boutique.
A day I look very forward to!

Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon.

    1. Thank you Tina! I love our cozy home. Believe it or not, I'm looking forward to pull out the Christmas decor. It's time for an update on my greenery so I might splurge this year and buy a couple of Christmas trees to cut up and use for garland and other sprays. There's a vacant house a few doors down that has a grand Magnolia tree so I might borrow some leaves. Bail me out of jail if I get caught. ;)

    1. Thank you Tamela! I have been so bad about posting about the house. I have come to an agreement with myself and will keep this blog about house, home and crafts and use my other blog for the bakery. Thank you for following along and being patient! xo

    2. I had an all white house to begin with...now I have more color, but mostly the bedrooms. I love both styles!

    3. I think if we had bald dogs, we could get away with it. LOL! We do, however, have a white coverlet on our bed that I love. It's so easy to change things up with throw pillows and throws. I'll be buying some fabric to make some new ones for the season. Have a great weekend!

  4. It's all beautiful! As much as I like the white phase that so many people are going through, I love homes that are rich with color. Yours is wonderful.

    1. I've tried venturing to the light and white and those jewel tones and natural wood colors just draw me back. White just isn't a suitable color for our rough and tumbly household. :) I will just keep admiring those beautiful homes in pages of magazines and books.

    1. Hi Lisa! Well, I'm glad you bumped into my blog. :) Nice to meet you. That red wall and I have our disagreements and as of right now, it's winning. I'll probably never get around to repainting it although our new thought up solution was to cover it with wood but not sure I want to jump on that trend. Then there's wallpaper..... oh boy!
